- Jet05 Centrifugal Pump is sufficient for these housings
- Bleed/Blowout Valve. The small valve at the top of the filter
is used to bleed air from the housing during startup. The same valve can be
used to blowout the product at the end of filtration (attach a gas hose).
- 2nd Pressure Gauge: It is the pressure difference between
inlet/outlet that indicates the cartridge needs to be replaced or cleaned.
However, the outlet pressure will be nearly zero if you are filtering into
an open tank. Therefore, a single pressure gauge will suffice in most applications.
If you are filtering into a closed or restricted system, then you will need
a pressure gauge on both sides of the filter.

- Housing bell polish: RA=8 micron-inch (inside and outside). Base polish: RA= 25 micron-inch. These values were measured by St. Patrick's with our Surface Roughness Analyzer.
- Sanitary Gauge
Glycerin filled diaphragm and casing
Do not remove the base from the gauge.
The purpose of the glycerin is to prevent needle chatter.
