Replacement Hat-shaped Rubber Gasket and S/S Washer $9 each
The Hat-shaped gasket should rarely wear out. Most failures are caused by loss of the stainless steel washer (between the plunger and the hat-gasket). If this washer is missing, the plunger can punch through the gasket.
Assembly order. Threaded cap-spring-hat gasket-washer-plunger.

Replacement Oring $2
Oring (215) makes seal between top nut and pipe. Rarely needs replacing. It is the only replacement part for this tool.

If you lose the bottom pin, get a M6x1.0 metric bolt from hardware store.

Maintenance of all spray balls. Lubricate periodically with food grade silicone spray. Be sure to rinse well with water after cleaning. Always lubricate after cleaning.

Beer Keg Tools
Components for Maintaining Sanke Beer Kegs
We do not sell standard beer kegs with Sanke valves.

The tools that you will need for maintenance of Sanke beer kegs are:

  • Valve-Removal Tool. This tool is used to remove the valve for maintenance.
  • Sanke Knives. These help remove the lock ring during valve removal.
  • Keg Washer/Filler. This is used to clean the keg without removing the valve. Clean the keg between uses. You do not need to remove the valve each time you fill a keg.

Drop-In Valve-Removal Tool $95
304 stainless steel. For removing American Sanke (Type D) DROP-IN Valves.
This tool works only with Drop-In American Sanke.
Sanke Knives are also needed with this tool.

How to Determine TriClamp Size

Keg Washer and Filler $275
Includes Clean/Fill Coupler, hose, fittings and clamps.

  • For use with American Sanke kegs only
  • Coupler is entirely stainless steel (both probe and body)
  • Stainless steel 'Beer Thread' valves on both inlet and outlet of the coupler
  • Inlet (yesllow) Hose has 1.5" TriClamp.
  • Inlet hose is approved for high temperature (220° F) and pressure (300 psi)
  • Hoses 3A approved. 6' inlet and 10' outlet hose
  • Can be used for hot caustic
  • Cleaning. Invert the keg. The Inlet is the center port. The outlet is the side port.
  • Filling: Keg in upright position. The Inlet is the center port. The vent is the side port.

Use of the Sanke Valve-Removal Tool and Sanke Knife
1. Tighten the Tool until pressure is released from the keg.
2. Use Sanke Knife to pull out the end of Lock Ring. Slide Knife around to remove Lock Ring.
3. Remove the Tool.
4. Remove the Sanke-valve from the keg. (Twist the Sanke-valve counterclockwise until the locking tabs align with the notches.)

To put the valve back in the keg:
1. Put in the Sanke-valve and twist clockwise.
2. Tighten Removal Tool. (Put Lock Ring under the Removal Tool first.)
3. Separate bottom end of the Lock Ring (use the Knife) and push into the groove. Use your fingers to push Lock Ring into the groove from the bottom end to the top end.
4. Remove the Tool.
