Butterfly Valve Seats
EPDM seat (black), -40 F to 300 F

Our seats will work ONLY on valves that meet ALL of these criteria

  • Stpats.com stamped on the body
  • Valve stem is 12 mm diameter and looks exactly like the photos on previous page
  • Black or Red seat
  • if RED and purchased >2009, then order the black seat on main page. Red seat is silicone but otherwise identical to black EPDM.
Installing Seats
Put long stem through first, then stretch seat to get over the small stem. This is easy with larger valves but can be difficult with 1" valve. For 1", put the seat in a vise---squeeze the seat to stretch it.

Orings for Wine Ball Valves

2 orings per valve.

Teflon seats should never wear out.
Please note. Do not mix seats between valves---this may cause leaks as the teflon will slowly form itself to its original valve. Teflon "cold-flows". This means it changes shape under pressure. Teflon seat will last virtually forever if it remains with the original valve.

Sight Glass Parts

First, insure the sight glass has Stpats.com stamped on it. If it does not, then these parts will not work.

Second, if the valve does not have black gaskets, then these parts will not work.

You can also measure the length of the glass to be sure you are getting the correct part.
