Changing Rubber Bands on Foil Spinner

Tip on adjusting tension of rubber bands. Push the bands up as far as they will go. Then test and lower bands incrementally until foils are applied firmly without wrinkles. Generally, the more contour on the bottle neck, the higher the bands need to be. If bottle has a great deal of contour (some whiskey bottles for example), then it might be necessary to remove 2 of the 5 bands.

Heat Shrinkers

Carbon Brushes for Deluxe Heat Shrinker $10 for 2
If the Fan on Deluxe Heat Shinker stops working, or more likely, sputters intermittently, then the carbon brushes are wore out. Also, you can continue to use the heat shrinker when the fan is not working. At that point, you have essentially the older version of the heat shrinker.

Springs for carbon brushes $2 each
These never wear out, but be careful---they like to jump out when you change the brushes.
