2164, 3256, 2164. Pos. 6,7,13. [typo in schematic. Pos. 13 is 2164, not 2154.]
The replacement motors for Euro 40/50/60-FD have separate fan. If you have a pump with a separate fan, then hookup is obvious.
If you have an older pump that does not have a separate fan [Does the motor fan run when you turn on the main power? --If no, then you have a unit without separate fan.], then you need to run two wires from the control box to the motor. 1)Run the two hot wires from either the outlet side of the fuse box (labeled 2 and 4) or the inputs to the frequency drive. 2)Get an electrical bulkhead and install it thru the wall of the control box. 3)Pull the fan wires out of the motor box. Connect the hots to fan wires. Be sure to seal up the opening on the motor electircal box with silicone. |

Do NOT pressure-wash gears, chains, and bearings. There is rarely any reason to wash these components. Sealed bearings will be destroyed if pressure washed.
Do not pressure wash or hose down motors or electrical components.
Lubricate moving components after each season and during the season if needed.
Do NOT use Metabisulfite/citric acid. It is an ineffective sanitizer and is corrosive to stainless steel. This solution will corrode holes in tanks, filling machines, and destroy seals and bearings in pumps, if left in contact for extended period or allowed to dry without effective rinsing. It is used only in the wine industry---never in dairy, beer, or other food industries. Metabisulfite has another use in the winery, which apparently lead to its misuse as a sanitizer. |
Pressure washers have destroyed the following items in the past 2 seasons.
- Motor on pumps
- Bearings on destemmers.
- Electronics on pumps and membrane press
- Rubber bladder on membrane press
- Electronics on labeler
- Electronics on filling machine
Sealed bearings cannot withstand pressure washers.
NEMA 4 enclosures cannot withstand pressure washers. |

Adjusting the rollers on Eno-15, ENO-3.
The gap between roller axles (4a and 4b) is changed
by turning nut (1).
In addition, the bolt/nut (3) is in a slot such that when
a stone enters between the rollers, roller 4a can move to the left against
the tension of the spring (2).
Nut 3 should not be tightened
down (It is a nylon self-locking nut so it will not come loose.)

Trouble Shooting the Inverter Control for Jolly 50/60
Never get control panels wet. Remove the control box before cleaning. Never wet down a motor. Never use a pressure washer on bearings.
To make testing easier, we recommend connecting the 2 wires going to the interlock (i.e., override the interlock). Simply remove the 2 wires from the connector on the control box, and use a wire nut to tie them together. This eliminates the possibility of a faulty interlock being the source of a problem.
1. Be sure you have power to box. Be sure Emergency Stop button is pulled out. Should be 1/4" yellow between black ring and red top.
2. Remove cover from inverter box.
3. Turn power on (from "0" to "1"). Inverter (Moeller DF51-322-2K2) display should come on. If it does not, then test for 230 V going into the inverter.
4.
Also, power (yellow) light on the yellow Moeller relay (ESR4-NO31-230VAC) should be on. If not, check the fuses next to the relay.
5. Push Blue button on panel and turn Stop-Start switch to Start. The K1/K2 light on Moeller relay should come on and the Blue light should be on. If K1/K2 is on but not blue light, the blue LED (M22-LED230) is burned out. If the K1/K2 did not light up, then the relay is probably bad.
6. Turn speed control dial (0-10) up and motor should turn. You can test without the motor but you must get Moeller Inverter to display "d001". If it is not displaying this, then press <PRG>, then press <up arrow> or <down arrow> until you get to d001. Now press <PRG> and it will display the output frequency. Adjust the speed contrl dial (0-10) on the control panel of the box, and the output frequency will change from 0-60 Hz.
